National Family Caregivers Month

National Family Caregivers Month

Approximately 44 million American families and friends provide unpaid care to another adult, sometimes around the clock. Wives, daughters, sons, partners, fathers, nieces, brothers-they provide approximately 80% of the long-term care in the United States.

Caring for a family member can be rewarding, but it's also demanding. One of the keys to being a successful caregiver is to manage stress by seeking support and taking care of yourself. .
